HIS SECRET WISDOM (C) August Mosco 2006

This is a composition based on 1 Corinthians 2:1-15.
The words of the Apostle Paul.

"For no eye has seen,
And no ear has heard,
No mind has conceived..."
The fruit of His Word,
And what God has prepared
for all those who love Him
is concealed in...but, revealed in
His secret wisdom,

The line has been drawn,
From ashes and dust
to Spirit and soul,
In Jesus we do trust
to hand over to us
the keys of the Kingdom,
That's interned in--yet discerned in
His secret wisdom,

(bridge)
I know--
I don't speak here with eloquent words,
It's such foolishness to this whole world,
The message--they inpart,
(yet)
I know--
that the power to raise up the dead
is not reasoned away in the head,
But responds--to the heart,

Mysterious ways
that I can't define,
All I know is Christ
and Him crucified,
Liberated from sin
for Truth does bring freedom,
That resides in--and abides in
His secret wisdom,
