National Sleep Foundation:
• Maintain a regular bed and wake time schedule, including weekends
• Establish a relaxing bedtime routine such as reading or taking a bath
• Sleep in a dark, quiet and cool room
• Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillow
• Use your bedroom only for sleep and romance
• Finish eating at least 2-3 hours before bedtime
• Exercise regularly, but complete the routine a few hours before bedtime
• Avoid caffeine close to bedtime
• Avoid alcohol and nicotine, particularly close to bedtime
