Prayer Requests for September 13, 2009
From Jody in UT - Please pray for Isaac. While we were at bible bee, Scott accidentally ran over Isaac's foot. he backed up over it and then went forward over it again to get the wheel off. the 'God' news is no growth plates were damaged. The sad side of it is that Isaac broke his fibula and a large bone in his foot--as well as, has a smashed gruesome looking foot (the blood has pooled under his skin and his foot is a horrible purple color and is very swollen and painful looking-esp. around his toenails. he is very sad to be out of football and not be able to put any weight on it for seven days- until we see the ortho. They didn't want to put a cast on it due to the large amount of swelling. they say it will take six weeks-we are praying sooner- to heal. Please pray for Scott too, as he feels horribly about running over his little guys foot. obviously, we are praising God for protecting Isaac from something worse. Thank you all so much-you are such a blessing to our lives!!
Pray for mediation meeting on 9/21st and hearing on 9/25th on Paul and my divorce, my depression, Lucille who broke her leg, Ray who has kidney stones, and for Betty and Doris, my Mom, who are on Hospice and for their caregivers. Resting in Jesus, Jan J. in VT
Please pray for a man named Wally, he is Pastor Larry's father-in-law, (Pastor Larry was one of the Pastor's who attended the Pastor's meeting here last week). Wally is in his late 70's and fell 50-60 feet out of a pine tree last Tues. He is in critical condition, is on a respirator with pneumonia, has 10 broken ribs, a fractured hip, broken wrist and jaw, lacerations on his liver, contusions on his spleen, spinal cord injury not yet confirmed as he is still unresponsive. He also has deep lacerations on his face and other parts of his body. Pastor Larry said he is a mess, but alive. The next two days are critical. Please pray for him, and for his wife and family. I will keep you posted as we receive updates. Thank you for your faithful prayers. (Patty)
Please pray for Mike J, I would request prayer for my youngest son Billy, he spent 2days in Hospital, Doc's are still not sure what was wrong ,they think it is what's called Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis, we have follow up apts. w/ genetic Dr., and neurologist, so hopefully we will get some answers. A little prayer for my dizzy spells I have been having the last couple months, wearing my glasses full time helped for a while but know they are coming back, it makes it very hard to concentrate on anything, Thank you very much for staying in touch............God Bless (Bill)
Prayer request for Mabel that her x-rays will show everything is okay with her knee replacements and she won't have to go thru surgery again. Thank you and God Bless everyone

"Pray that God will bring workers for this field. It is a desperate need because of rapid population growth along the river. There are many new communities that have never heard the Gospel, and will be difficult to evangelize.
"Pray that God will send people we can mobilize as tent makers to reach these growing communities on a river that is 250 miles wide and filled with islands." (Marie)

"Please pray that Brother Isaiah, a young man who has the qualities of an elder found in Titus 1 but feels he needs a wife, will find a partner who will enhance his ministry." (Marie)

Loving and Righteous Father, Almighty God, help my heart remain firmly committed to your will and more fully conformed to your holy character and grace. In the name of Jesus, my Savior and my Lord. Amen.
Please Pray: Peggy Is thanking Jesus; that my daughter, Valerie will recover from a horrible car crash and that baby Gavin was unharmed. It will be a long road for Valerie but she will recover, her leg is broken in two places, her ankle shattered. Thank you Lord that it wasn't any worse. (Marie)
