Prayer Requests for September 9, 2009
Here are prayer requests from Alice P - (GBIM, Argentina).
"Please pray that God will provide and protect as I finish up my home ministries
and return to Argentina on October 3.
"Pray that two new families will be reached with the Gospel in Corrientes."
Here are prayer requests from Gary and Linda McC - (GBIM, Argentina).
"Pray that our preparations to return to Argentina will go well. This time we are leaving
behind our first grandbaby.
"Pray that God will lead the people who are planning the one-hundredth anniversary
celebration of the planting of the first Brethren church in Argentina."
Kevin and Holly H - (GBIM, Argentina) send these prayer requests.
"Pray that God will allow our team in Corrientes to expand with more national partners.
"Pray that the Spirit will guide us in developing effective ways of planting the seeds of the Gospel in hard soil.
"Pray that we will secure a new contract for our housing by November 1."

"Pray that I (Brian) will have opportunities to plant seeds of truth in Pablo's heart. He is a new friend who is a great help to me with language study.

"Pray that we will meet more of our neighbors now that the weather is turning spring-like and they are spending more time outdoors.

"Please pray that our new weekly children's outreach "La Hora Feliz", that starts this month, will impact many children and will allow us to meet many parents."
Steve B -, GBIM Regional Director - Latin America, sends these prayer requests.
"PTL for new vision and a refreshing spirit of unity among different GBC groups in Mexico, especially on the border. Pray that Mike and Emily McC will soon have their support so that they can deploy to Mexico City in January 2010.
"PTL that two leaders from Curicó, Chile, participated in the Southern Cone Training Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Pray for wisdom regarding the next church plant in Chile."
Please pray for discipleship and leadership training within the reach of all 3000 Grace Brethren Churches around the world.
Pray that meetings in C.A.R. in September among several American pastors and GBIM representatives will result in leadership training in Africa where the number of churches far exceeds the number of trained pastors.
This training will include Bible Institutes and Seminary, practical schools of evangelism and church planting, as well as mentoring government officials.

"Please pray that God will encourage us and our teammates across the U.S. as we visit our supporters and as we talk through our next step in ministry."
Please Pray for Marge, Barbara's mother, she is 93 years old & not feeling well today. (Marie)

Forgive me, dear Father, for trying to find the satisfaction for my soul's hunger in what is not truly sustaining. (Confess the area of temptation that most often causes you to stumble in this area - sex, status, possessions, economic security, chemical dependency, abusing food, body identity, etc.) As I seek you, dear LORD, please make your presence known as you satisfy my spiritual thirst and satiate my soul's hunger. In the name of Jesus, my Lord. Amen.
