Prayer Requests for October 5, 2009
Please pray: for Anne's step-mom, Betty, the doctor has discovered a growth which they are testing to see if it's cancerous. Please pray for her salvation, for the Lord's peace and for a good report from the biopsy. Thank you for your prayers. Betty has to go for another scan today. I encouraged her to put her faith in God and pray that he will heal her and be with her to give her comfort. Please keep praying for her! (Patty)
Please pray Steve D's dad, Bill D was taken back to the hospital - possible heart problem (again). Please pray for Bill, Steve and that great family.

Please continue to pray for Barb P. She had her hip replacement surgery yesterday and came through the surgery well. She is experiencing a lot of pain and finding it hard to move and get up, which is common with this type of surgery. I will keep you posted. Thank you for your faithful prayers! (Patty)

Roberta--Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her lungs and growing. Treatment has not worked. Prayers for a miracle healing and salvation
Robert--age 88---living alone and frail--needs help with nutrition ---and pride----to give up his independence ----salvation
Mike---paralyzed man with old spider bite that keeps reopening---needs repeated surgeries at Mayo---financial help---He & his wife need to come closer to the Lord
Marion---praise the Lord has a job after years of unemployment---adjustment for family with nightshift and difficult co workers
Susan--unemployed and lives selfishly for herself and does not know the Lord
Michael--young man suffering from severe depression/suicide watch/ staying with his parents who are strong Christians
Joe & Karen ---financial discernment re renting a home or buying a home--wisdom ---we love the Lord and trust Him with our lives
Jacob age 9---salvation and direction
Tim --husband & father of 4---brain seizures
Kathy & Troy---family with several health issues all at the same time--new baby with health issues, young boy with health issues & father w/ swine flu
Joe---mesoth. treatment and financial wisdom

"Please pray that God will give guidance to a group of seven U.S. pastors, plus GBIM staff, who are scheduled to arrive in Bangui, C.A.R. today. We will dialog with Central African leaders concerning needs and opportunities for partnering in leadership training ministries.
"Pray also that important meetings October 26-28 with the GBIM Global Leadership Team will find ways to develop
