*New* From Ruth: Allen Schroeter who was on our prayer list recently has passed away. Please pray for his wife Lois and their family to be comforted during their time of sorrow.
From Carl McKeever: Please pray for my school, ITT Tech. They pushed my graduation back to December 2009 due to enrollment issues and all of my classes at DeVry University have been dropped. I have made my final decision: to obtain my Associate's degree and find a full-time job to help me get back up on my feet. Please pray that I will be able to complete this task.
From Kay - 1) Please pray for Marla. She has cancer on and above her lip and it will be a very involved procedure to remove it. Please pray she has the strength and that they can get all of it before it spreads. 2) Please pray for all our FC/DC friends as they are all fighting some kind of battle. 3) Please pray for Olga’s cousin. He has had surgery and had a relapse.
From Fred in AZ – We have found a house that we want to purchase. It’s on “short sale” so it may be some time before we find out if we are approved. Please pray that we are able to buy this home. Praise that Alice has found a new, better paying job.
From Gloria in FL – I never found the papers I had lost, but I have managed to replace them. My daughter Mary still has not found a job. Please pray for her. Janice’s foot is getting better and she does not have a diabetic related infection. My friend Pete is currently incarcerated for something he didn’t do and is appealing. The stress has given him shingles. Please pray for Pete. Also, see my ad under Book Store and More.
From Beth in FL – I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT KATHY, MY DAUGHTER IN AUSTRALIA HAS WORK---JUST IN TIME, HER SAVINGS HAD LASTED JUST RIGHT, PRAISE GOD, HE KNEW! RICK, MY 30 YEAR OLD GRANDSON WHO LIVES WITH US AND HAS THE 2 CHILDREN, HAS BEGUN COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND ONLY ONE DAY WORK PER WEEK FOR SEVERAL MONTHS,, SO IT HAS BEEN VERY DIFFICULT FOR HIS MOTHER, MY DAUGHTER, IS TO BEGIN TO WORK TOMORROW (10-3). PLEASE PRAY THAT HE CAN CONTINUE SCHOOL AND WORK, TOO.

*New* From Mary in Melrose, FL – Tina is now at home with her little baby and both are doing good. It will be a long time before she regains total strength and proper oxygen in her lungs, but God has been so good to them already He is not going to desert them now. Thank you all once again for your many prayers.
From Jan in VT - We did not settle the divorce at the mediation meeting; I may need to go to court to have the divorce final. Pray our home will sell and for all those involved.
From Diane - My niece Maeve, who is three months old, was diagnosed with Osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle bone disease. I know that prayers works and ask you all to say a prayer for little Maeve and her mom, Lisa.
From Millie - Please ask the entire prayer circle to pray for the economy ... so many people are losing jobs, and those of us in retirement are finding our nest eggs disappearing, even though we were careful and did everything "right".
From Patty – Please pray for my dad who has cancer.
From Lisa -Please pray that my stepson will make healthy choices for his life now that he is out of prison. Please also pray for my safety and that he won't break into the house, and that any fear I may have would be replaced by faith and the knowledge that the Lord is in control of all things.

*New* From Jody in Utah –1. Mark Hausler's healing from cancer 2. Mom's healing from cancer and that her biopsy would go well-Monday at 7:30a.m. in Seattle 2. Isaac's leg/ankle/foot healing to continue-one more week without weight and then doc. will re-evaluate & hopefully he can begin walking w/a walking cast-pray he doesn't hit is foot this week!! 3. praises & thanks to God for the faithful who pray over comforting faith prayer requests!! we love you over here and are indeed greatly comforted by your prayers offered in faith!!!
*New* From Suzanne - Still need prayers for jobs on my husband's behalf, and I want to thank and praise for the food nets. If it was not for them we would have a harder time! I am thankful that we have a place to stay and some friends who help paying for our bills.

*New* From Elaine in GA –I think we all need to pray for our nation. I’d like to ask a special prayer for my son's needs. I'd like to express my thankfulness for the answered prayer concerning our need of rain. I still need to ask for prayers for myself to be a stronger and more secure Christian and to allow God to do His work in my life without me being fearful of the future. We thank God for His blessings and we ask that all our children be blessed by the evidence of the love of our Father. Please pray: for Bill’s father, on Friday, Sept. 18th my Dad fell and broke his right arm. The prognosis is that it will take 6 weeks to heal and will do so by simply being in a sling. However...... the pain medicine took away his appetite so he didn't eat for an entire week which made him weaker than usual. At the age of 81, he needs to eat and keep up his strength! Please pray that he will regain his strength and have several more good, quality years of life. Thanks, (Bill)

Please Pray: Jenna H has requested prayer for a dear friend of hers. She has had a lot of financial trouble, is a single mom of a 3 1/2 year old daughter, she is being evicted from her apartment and her family isn't supportive of her staying with them, she is looking at having to sleep in her car with her daughter which means a risk of losing her daughter. She resides in NC, is a believer and wants God's will for her life. Specific prayer requests, for her finances, her self esteem and motivation, as she feels she deserves to be in this situation. Please pray for Jenna as well, as she wished she lived closer to help them. Please pray for the Lord's guidance, peace, and strength for this young woman and her child. Thank you for your prayers. Urgent Prayer: Metro Manila, P hilippines, experienced severe flooding from a typhoon last weekend. There was severe damage to Grace Brethren churches and the homes of many Grace Brethren people.

From Michele - Please pray for my mother Darlene a stroke patient of 13 years who is 1/2 paralyzed, unable to speak, bedridden, has peripheral artery disease, has seizures and is normally in a lot of pain. Please pray for her not to be in pain and know that she is loved by the lord and her family. Please pray for my friend Carrie's son Zackary with leukemia. Please pray for healing of Zackary.
*New* From Sue in CT:- Please pray for Kathy, recovering at home from a severe asthma attack, Maggie, recovering from cancer, Zak in court again. Praise for Keith who got a job, Prayers for my Sheltie, Shady Lady, who is having seizures.
Pray for Stacey - She has a growth on her kidney or liver that the doctors are watching and also her blood sugar was too high. She also has a thyroid problem and back problems.
From Olga - My friend Juan Pablo's wife was diagnosed with Melanoma on her lower jaw,... can you help me praying for my friend's wife?. Thanks a bunch.

From Pam - COPD .. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She stays short winded, and congested, with nonstop coughing at times. It's a very uncomfortable disease, and is also a real stressor
From Patty - Please continue to pray for my nephew Ron's wife Susan going through extensive radiation treatments daily and some chemo. Please continue to pray for her and Ronnie's salvation, for the Lord's strength, peace, and His will to be done. Thank you for praying for my family!
