Prayer Requests for June 21, 2009

Please pray:

Here is a prayer request from Chris and Kristin - GBIM Missionaries In Preparation.

"Please pray that we will have patience, endurance, persistence and wisdom as we cultivate relationships with the people whom God is calling to join us, both by supporting us from a distance and by coming along side us in taking the Gospel to the Xhosa people of South Africa."

Tim and Jessica - Missionaries in Preparation, sends this prayer request.

"Please pray that we will grow through the training we will receive when we attend Mission Training International in Colorado for five weeks, beginning today, in preparation for ministry in Cambodia."

Here are prayer requests from Jay - (GBIM Mobilization Coordinator, Central Region, and Director of Internationals USA).

"Please pray that God will use the following meetings to mobilize His Church to greater involvement among the nations:

June 19 - Minerva, OH. GBC to discuss mobilization,

June 20 - presenting our Internationals USA Workshop at Canton, Akron (Ellet) and Middlebranch GBCs in Ohio, and

June 21 - speaking in combined ABF and AM Worship Service at Akron (Ellet), OH. GBC."

Here are prayer requests from Ed - GBIM Mobilization Coordinator Western Region.

"Praise the Lord that several churches in western states have broadened their missions initiatives this summer, both locally and globally.

"Also praise the Lord that there is a great interest in On Mission Training days planned for this fall throughout the western region.

"Pray that we will be wise in scheduling, planning and coordinating our fall mission-focused events in the west."

Father, open my heart and help me be a more generous person. I want to use the many blessings and resources, which you have entrusted to me, to bless others and bring you glory. Please give me courage to not be afraid to use what you have given me in ways that are bold and extravagant in your service. I know that when my heart is pure and I share your grace, I will never be able to out give you! In Jesus' name I thank you. Amen.
