Prayer Requests & Praises for Monday, July 6, 2009
Please pray :
Please be praying for a friend of mine Rodger and Cheryl. Cheryl found her mother dead Saturday morning and also for family members that will be traveling to Nashville for the funeral. (Robin)
Please pray for Marvel D. Her husband Dean is taking her to Terre Haute to the hospital. They're going to at least put her on I.V. antibiotic for a couple of days. We don't know if she's back on the lung transplant list or not, but please lift her up in prayer. (Bill)
Brother Herve C (key leader in the Cap-Haitien Church) needs prayers. His wife is in the hospital for about a week. Please pray for Herve family. Have a nice day, (Mathieu)
Karen - (GBIM, Cameroon, Africa, sends these prayer requests.
"Please pray that the small group of teens in my English class will be encouraged to follow God. It's the first step in my effort to show concern for them.
"Pray that churches will send capable, committed people for the training I am organizing this month for children's workers.
"Pray that when I leave for home ministries in August my activities will be at good stopping points."
Jim and Debbie (GBIM, Cameroon, Africa) send these prayer requests.
"Pray that delegates from C.A.R., < /span>Chad, and Cameroun will have safe travel, good interaction, and a good spiritual atmosphere during the Africa regional Charis meetings this month here in Yaoundé.
"Pray that our family will readjust to life and ministry in Cameroun, that our French language ability will progress and for God's leading of the ministries to be launched in the coming months."
Laura (GBIM, Cameroon, Africa) sends these prayer requests.
"Pray that all the children in our orphan program will return to school in the fall."
"Please pray that God will lead me to the right people to join my support team and that all my support will come in."

Father, thank you for your presence and power in me through your Holy Spirit. Thank you for the Scriptures which reveal to me your will. Now, dear Father, I gladly submit my will to yours, asking you to do your will in me. Please use your people and your Spirit to motivate and inspire me to resist the devil and recognize his attempts to derail my commitment to you. I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
