Prayer Requests for July 4, 2009
From Ruth - On this 4th of July, a day of celebration for our country, please pray for our leaders, our economy, and the faith of our nation. All are in need of God's help. Please pray also that everyone will take care and remain uninjured as fireworks light up the skies and sparklers twirl in the hands of our children.
From Marie - Please pray:
Please pray for the following:
Barbara P has asked that we would pray for her nephew Matt's friend, Alyssa. She is a young mother who several months ago was diagnosed with cancer through out her body. It was supposed to be terminal, but after a short chemo treatment, the cancer was gone. She wasn't suppose to restart treatments for another 6-9 months. The cancer has returned. Please pray for healing, comfort, and strength for her, her husband, and her children. She does have a relationship with the Lord.
Also, please continue to pray for Joe. He will be going in for surgery on 7/13. The doctors still have not found where the cancer is located. Please pray for healing for Joe and for him and Gidge for the Lord's comfort, peace, & wisdom for the doctors.
Please pray for Chris D's niece, Victoria. She has shingles on her face, eyes, and scalp. She is in a lot of pain and has to be quarantined for 2 weeks. She just recently got married. Please pray for healing, comfort, and peace for her and her husband.
A PRAISE REPORT!
You have been praying for my nephew Ronnie's wife Susie who many months ago was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in the neck and next to the voice box. Susie went through surgery to remove the tumor in her neck and also through 6 weeks of extensive radiation treatment. She has lost a lot of weight. She had a CatScan last week and the doctors told her they couldn't see anymore cancer! My family is Praising the Lord and we thank all of you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for strength for her and for her weight to get back to normal. The radiation treatments have left her with a lot of side effects. I thank you all personally for your wonderful prayerful hearts! (Patty)

Loving Father, earnestly I seek your presence now. Please forgive me for my sin. Please use me to be an influence for good in my time. Most of all, Father, please move to bring revival and healing to our time, our people, and our land. We desperately need your guidance, blessing, and character in our government and among our people. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
