Prayer Request for September 19, 2009
I've just received word from a wonderful 90 yr old lady in my poetry group that her daughter Diana has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and has six months or less to live. She is in the nursing home and already on morphine for the pain. Please pray for Diana's comfort in her final days and for her mother Nadine to have the faith and strength to get through this.

A letter from Lois in FL:
Dear Ruth, I have been trying to take care of Allen for the past few months and he has not been getting better. finally today they took him to Hospice in Auburndale, Good Shepard, to see if he can get rid of his pain.... bone and liver plus other things. I would be so grateful if some of you all up there would say a prayer for him at this time. Thanks to all of you who have sent messages of support to me, I love you.
