What If?
What If?
What if we lost it all?
To whom then would we turn?
Can we pick ourselves up when we fall?
Will we remember all we have learned?
We must meditate on the Master.
And ask what we should do.
If we want to recover faster
It’s our faith we must renew.
It is He who will lift us in His arms
His child to comfort and hold.
It is He who will keep us safe from harm
And restore our lives ten-fold.
So if life strikes us down to our knees,
Reach up for the Savior’s hand.
Feel the scars which have set us free
As He pulls us up to stand.
Then reach out to help another
For that’s how we can repay,
Lifting up a sister or brother
And giving thanks to God each day.
