Sacrifice is when you give what you could have kept yourself
To find another’s joy your deepest pleasure.
That is what the Father did when He sent His only son –
He sacrificed Himself, God’s greatest treasure.

(On this anniversary of 9-11, please take a moment of silence in honor of those who gave their lives for our country in the Twin Towers and in the airliners which crashed. There is no greater love than to give your very life so that others might live.)
